National Signing Day 2020

Another signing day is in the books for Dallas-Fort Worth area high schools, and that includes some of your favorite student-athletes right here in Denton County. Sixteen athletes at six schools signed their National Letter of Intent on December 16, the first day of the early national signing period for football.

Of those 16 total signings, 14 were to Football Bowl Subdivision programs that included the likes of TCU, UNT, Texas A&M, Florida State, LSU, and Baylor. Some of the names to sign on the dotted line included Guyer quarterback Eli Stowers (Texas A&M), Marcus quarterback Garrett Nussmeier (LSU), Flower Mound defensive end Stone Ebby (SMU), Liberty Christian quarterback Daniel Greek (Mississippi State), and Argyle tight end Jasper Lott (TCU). All of those players guided their teams to successful seasons in 2020.
